Choosing Materials That Actually Survive Bali's Climate
"High humidity, salt air, and heavy tropical rain degrade cheap materials fast. Our site engineering guide to selecting anti-corrosive metals, treated hardwoods, and multi-layer waterproofing."

Bali's tropical climate is notoriously harsh on building materials. High ambient humidity, intense UV exposure, monsoon downpours, and coastal salt air will quickly degrade sub-standard products.

To prevent premature building decay, structural steel must be treated with anti-corrosive zinc primer and heavy duty polyurethane coats. Woodwork requires kiln-dried hardwood treatment against termites and fungi. For roof membranes and pool decks, multi-layer elastomeric waterproofing is mandatory.

Our engineering team inspects all material deliveries on site, rejecting inferior grades and enforcing strict application protocols for sealants, mortars, and structural coatings.
